Eight and a Half

   I was wondering where The Stills had gone to (a talented Alternative/Indie Rock band from Montreal), then my good friend Glen referred me to Eight and a Half. As I was listening to the album, I said to myself, "Man... those melodies really remind me of The Stills' stuff." Sure enough, Eight and a Half consists of two members from the (now disbanded) Stills crew, along with the drummer from Broken Social Scene. Boom, what a mix. I cannot stop listening to this album. Their creative electronic touch blended with true Canadian rock will get me every time. So take a listen to a couple of my favourites from their self-titled 2012 debut release, and enjoy!

Becks to PSG

This man has quite the influence in the footballing world. David Beckham. Household name. He's finally decided on his next locker room, and he picked a doozy in Paris St. Germain's (PSG). And I know I predicted he'd hop on with Celtic...

But I swear PSG was second on my list, because of their extravagant signings from past summer... I swear they were! With the likes of Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva, Pastore, Menez, Thiago Motta, Van Der Wiel, and Nene, you can't go wrong (I guess we'll find out soon as the knockout stages of the Champions League are coming up).

It also helps that PSG are on pace to snag the Ligue 1 trophy, which means another league title on Becks' resume.
He knows how to win, on and off the field! What a guy.
