Settling In Europe

Willie and I have survived our first little while over yonder, abroad in Europe. Covering quite the distance already, our travels have included: The Bodensee region of Germany, Basel (SUI), København, and now Amsterdam. We've finally made it to the lands of our forefathers... Arriving by night, strolling through the dimly lit cobblestone streets makes for quite the entrance. Glistening canals, bustling bars, and the blazing red lanterns (amongst other things) guided the way to our hostel. I am excited for what we will embark on tomorrow; hopefully the Heineken brewery and a concert from an Icelandic fellow whose music I enjoy.

Back in København we experienced the biking culture, movie theatre size difference (we wondered how they fit 20 theaters in such a building...), and Carlsberg's historical relevance and impact to the nation.

Here are a couple photos of our journey thus far...

Keep an eye out for my #mannytravelpose's. I'll post those in a blog once I have enough of them.

Ciao for now,
